What distinguishes pro and amateur photographers is their source of income, has nothing to do with the quality of the resulting image. Pro photographers are those who make a living from their photographs. While amateur photographers are those who regard photography as purely a hobby and a passion, while its main income comes from its main job. It could be that amateur can occasionally monetize his photograph, but that is more to the bonus. The assumption that pro photographers must be more whiz than amateurs is also not true. The truth is, those who are pro is indeed a photographer's profession.

In English, the word "amateur" is defined as: "one who does an activity for the sheer joy of doing it," aka amateurs are those who do something just because they are happy to do so and do not expect commercial rewards. The origin of the amateur word mate from Latin, "amour" which means love.

Legitimate people want to be pro photographers and leave the main job, many of which successfully swerved from amateur to pro, but frankly more are failing. Many are surprised after the pro photogafer, they must be smart to find the market. They must be smart marketing. Activity photographing becomes not as fun as when still a hobby, and others. It turned out to be a successful pro photographer, smart photographing alone is not enough.
