The setting sun was shining gloriously through the trees during a snowfall of last year on Mont-Royal. The photos didn't really do the scene justice, so I processed them in Lightroom to try to evoke the impression I had at the time.
I used a Sony a330 camera and a Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens, focusing on the nearby snow at minimal aperture to paint the trees in an eerie bokeh.
