Celebrating Singapore's National day and catching Fireworks for the first time

Today, 9th August is the national day of Singapore. It's also public holiday here , yay, more steemit time.

It is such a big event that the whole nation celebrate it .It displayed a stunning spectacle of military parades, multi-cultural song-and-dance performances and stunning fireworks display the Marina Waterfront every year.

I was lucky to experience a few years ago, again I got a free ticket for the performance , I felt always blessed to have such amazing people around me .(Thank you so much to anyone who have upvoted me here in steemit, I am forever grateful)

Since our tickets were the cheapest ones , our seating area was so far away from the stage.

The view of the famous Marina bay sands where it is famous for their infinity pool. Since I am familiar with going to concerts, I managed us into another seating area which is nearer to the stage. There were so many people and the usher hardly to able to manage all the people.

After a long time of entertainment. At midnight the fireworks started, it was magical. Although I have been staying in Singapore for almost 10 years, it was my first time watching the national day fireworks.

I had managed myself again nearer to stage while the rest of my friends decided to remain on their seats. It was my second time watching BigBang show and had a great time .

Public buses and trains also run the service late for the occasion . So it was convenient, but there were thousands of people everywhere. The stations were full of people and taxi are fully booked . It was not so fun to end the day.
