Fiery eye... (of Sauron?)

Well, more like the fiery eyelids of Sauron, but of course that just sounds silly... hehehe... 😂

This is more like the blinded eye of Sauron (I'm making it worse, aren't I...?) Ok, let's move on...

Shot these about 2+ years ago, when we had lots of fiery skies... so I didn't use up these shots, and yeah, I just found them lying with the dust bunnies in the archived folders!

Yup, unbelievably fiery!
More like fiery hour than golden hour....

It was one of those, walk out to the window, and your jaw drops...
Then you go scrambling for the camera!

These moments don't last, and they certainly don't wait for you!
Seconds are ticking...
The sky is literally burning up!

Tiny lights are starting to come on...
Surreal....!

And then it all starts to fade away...
All the above lasted all of 2 minutes!
I just continued snapping....

Red fire is replaced with dark scorched clouds instead, dark....
Purplish...
Night falls swiftly thereafter
