One photo from my collection that I quite like from before...
I had several shots in various edits - monochrome and different framing
Never posted in colour before
I always feel colour and black & white, and even sepia or one colour monochromes provide different moods
Or why else would we choose the various looks...
To exude different moods...
Of course in colour it projects the exact mood of the place as I experienced it...
Or does it?

Damp, cool, a little drizzly, misty, quiet, a little deserted...
Odd shapes, silhouettes in the mist that appear as you walk nearer

                              I'm not so sure. We filter the world through our own unique lenses and your mood that day may have made the monochrome edit more appropriate. This one suits me just fine though. I regret never making it to Bali when we lived in Guam. So many of our friends went. One couple even gave their baby a "Made in Bali" shirt, if you know what I mean ;-)

                                I totally agree with you - colour should show things as they were, but I too have my doubts... A misty black and white might be closer to the image in my head... Yes, I can imagine you would like Bali...these days it can get a bit over-crowded but depends on how you wish to perceive it, I guess... Not too late to make a trip there... :)
