Barcelona is hands down one of the most amazing cities I have ever been to. The design and architecture makes this old city very unique and one of a kind. The people from Barcelona are very proud of the artistic work that goes into each of the buildings.
First Stop Was Casa Batlló - The amazing house of the sea
This magnificent house was designed by Antoni Gaudí. The whole building had feeling and elements of the sea. The roof resembles a curved sea shell. The walls and ceilings are shaped in a wavy fashion.
The mosaic tiles and the outside walls reminded me of sea turtles and prehistoric sea creatures.

Wow! Such neat architecture! That's definitely someplace I'll have to check out next time I find myself in Barcelona! I really appreciated the style of architecture that was at the Park Güell where a lot of Antoni Gaudi's work was done! Great photos!
