Technical hint for shooting fast movement with old strobes with relatively long flash duration:
Try to choose moves that are rather "back and forth" than "from one point to another". Like in this pic - leg goes up, and then goes back. Between it stops for a fraction of a second. This is the moment when you have to shoot.
