Peyto Lake in Banff National Park

Peyto Lake is a lake fed by a glacier the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, Canada. It gets its color from the mineral sediments floating in the water and reflecting back largely the blue spectrum of light. It's one of those places where you don't necessarily have to wait for the golden hour to get a decent image.

wow - you would think this is somewhere in the tropics if not for the landscape around the lake...

Wouldn't that be something?

The water is really such a beautiful blue that goes along with the greenery.

Really nice shot with wonderful colors. The blue of the lake is incredible ;)

It's of the most intensely colorful lake I've seen :)

Beautiful picture of an amazing place.

Indeed!

The water is magnificent! How pretty!

:)

Spectacular!!!!!!!! Nature is Amazing
-cheers-

Especially in the Canadian Rockies :)

Wow, just how clear the water must be to reflect the sky like that. Beautifully taken photo, and extremely detailed as always. Great shot!

Agreed. Been to Vancouver and few other surrounding places. And I still want to go back to discover more!

Wow!! Like in a fairy tale :)

You can see it yourself and visit Banff someday!

Wow! Would love to visit this place! :) I guess it's a very good place for hiking?

Oh yeah, lots of hiking. This viewpoint fairly short. You'd have to go to other trails in the interior of the Park.

Cool! If you are interested, I have a lot of blogs about hiking on my channel!

Thanks (:

September :)

good to know the weather is still good in September. This area is definitely on my top 5 next destinations list (:

Wow professional photography

:)

The view make you admire nature @adonisabril well done.

Nice picture. I always learned not to use a polarized filter in combination with a to wide focal point, can cause some weird stuff with colors, especially in the skies with the blues as in going from quite dark in one end of the picture to quite bright in the other end. But it certainly didn't hurt this photo. Nice job. Feel free to check out my photos!

Yeah, I see that happen often right about 45 degrees from the sun.

Enjoy the vote and reward!

Cool didn't know about it in such detail. Thanks for the info!

Looks great!

Perhaps tilt it a bit to the right? It makes me dizzy haha

God I can't wait to get to Canada in a few years! Looks amazing! Nice photo :)

Banff is on my bucket list. Someday. So Beautiful.
