On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, i was out exploring my small town of Sapele with a friend. He discovered that at a time the British consulate was once operating in Sapele close to the Benin river. So, we went out to check out the place and see how it is looking. We were there in no time, we met some men dredging by the river and asked if we were at the right place. We were actually there, we were shown the building that once housed the British consulate, and told that it was now owned by a well known politician who uses it as a site for dredging business. We felt it would have been good as an historical landscape, but unfortunately, the said owner is already planning to demolish the building and conIMG_20171119_173318_084.jpgvert for other purpose. I would like to know your thought on this. Please like and comment!!!
