When I first started exploring other subjects and form of photography, I stumbled upon automotive which I find rather interesting to capture. The fine lines and details, the sharp reflective highlight and the distinctive shadows, the many man made characters that each of these machine has. I began experimenting and my passion towards it grew more and more. Let me start off this series with this share from my vision through the lens titled "The Jeep, The Wrangler".

These photos were taken during an off-road showcase event outside our city council building. Under the hot sun, sweat slowly flowing down and drips gain momentum, I quickly find the right shots and avoiding from accidentally getting the crowd in the frame while still enjoying the design and build of this great beast of the land. I believe this vehicle can conquer many terrains our land has in store for it.

As you might have guessed, this four wheeler is a Jeep Wrangler, solid, durable and built for adventure. I used to drive a Jeep Cherokee a few years back and that was already a great driving experience, imagine driving this baby! In the meantime, it was a pleasure to be able to enjoy the Wrangler through my camera and post-processing to create a still art form out of it. I wanted to give it a bit of a warm and commercial feel while still maintaining that "displayed for the crowd" feel as well. The orange shade body goes well with the feel too.

While appreciating the Wrangler, I was also captivated by the pattern on the tyres which I couldn't hold off not taking them. It may not have great visual detail but these tyres do have high aesthetics to it when you see them up close, plus they are well researched and engineered to overcome many types of off-road driving conditions and that's a beaut.

I hope you enjoy the content that I bring and thank you for taking your time to read and appreciate them. More to come!
I love the textures. Hard to handle the glares with natural light, but you were able to create art pieces with this. Awesome!

Hi @misterakpan , appreciate the feedback! I did shoot these in RAW format which helped a lot with post processing. The texture, if you're referring to the tyre were done quite easily by maintaining the medium range of black and white during shoot and ofcourse lightroom can work wonders. Adjusting the highlight and exposure were the key actions during post processing and added with clarity and a bit of brushing here and there gave it a good finish, or up to my best editing skills. If you're into photography yourself I don't mind sharing my way of editing. Cheers!
