AlbertaWX is the first storm chasing community in the Canadian province on Alberta. We have chased the Canadian prairies since 2006. Even being such a close knit group we have only chased stateside once. and was not super fruitfull. Perhaps a separate post on that.
(weakening storm north of Bismark, North Dakota June 2 2015).
I'm am one of the most active members of AlbertaWX and have contributed since 2009. Personally my first major chase was in 2007. I have been a storm lover all my life and bought my first camera in 2005.
I made the decision to branch over to Steemit recently due to increased competition of newcomers, demonetization on youtube, and the attractiveness of cyptocurrency.

I will be posting detailed post chase reports though I cant guarantee I will be able to do so in the field.
I will also do season recaps including the juicy photography of the year's top intercepts and links to recent videos, mesoscale and long range forecasts, I generally do them here in Alberta as I've learned how systems work here, the forecast models are rarely accurate. But I can try doing so on a larger scale.
Welcome to the best community ever which values our hardwork . Hope you'll have good time here. Gud people are waiting for you... Feel free to share what you like with me and be in touch @sarinakhan
