I offer to you my friends and followers
Steem fruit of the day, Nangka

Early in this morning, our nieghbor give as a piece of her Nangka. I love Nangka. The fragrance that no one can hide. Thanks to ate Sikay (Jesica) for the fruit.

It is a habit for filipino people to always give to neighbors what we have that is much and delicious, like foods, fruit, etc..

Did you know that the seed of Nangka is like a nut? After we ate the sweet buds of Nangka, the seed was taken to boil it with some water and salt. Once its done and ready to serve, we take the thick skin of the seed and eat. It taste like closer to Boiled peanut.

Nangka is a visayan term for JACKFRUIT
Did you already taste or eat Nangka? Here in our place, Nangka tress is almost everywhere. Do you have Nangka in your backyard or at your doorstep ahead?

This is the Nangka tree

It grows one meter from the door of ate Sikay, that Nangka was planted around 2009, and it already give fruits. We used to wrap it with sack while it is small to protect from worms.. So, you can see that it is beeing wrap.

In case you migth wanted to see my place, you can used this #macrohon

My boss used to have jackfruit after lunch everyday. Loved it :)

I feel lucky to have Korean Market and its easy to buy it . I am afraid that the taste is not the same of the fruit here then you have on your plate. Upvote

The typical taste of a jackfruit is sweet, juicy and a little crunch as you bite the ripe buds,

but some is not good its taste also, it depends on the area and soil they grows and how they treated before it gives its first fruit. My grandparents, put some sugar around the trees as fertilizer right on its first giving fruit..

Looks good. Thanks for popping by my site for a visit :)

What comes around, goes around..
