Kamchatka rhododendron. He is also called - Vanka. In June, blooms in solid carpets and looks very beautiful. Especially unforgettable impression leaves blooming alpika.
During sunset in the Eagle's Bay, where we filmed the white-shouldered eagles, I found a pair of flowers, very effectively looking at the background of the bay. But in order to remove these squat flowers, it was necessary to bury the camera so that the lens was at ground level, and also to solve the problem with the backlight. For this, I used a pocket flashlight as a light brush. Not the first time I managed to take a picture myself, a gentle breeze smeared the flowers, I had to cover them with myself and catch the pauses between gusts.

The color temperature of the flashlight was very cold and the white balance had to be straightened in Photoshop with the help of corrective layers and masks. Do you know how long? Absolutely not :)
