This travel was made possible because of our wonderful community, Steemit.

I was away for a couple of days last week. One of the reasons is this place. My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday away from the crowded Metro Manila. We decided to visit the summer capital of the Philippines which is Baguio City. On our first day we visited a lot of place, I made a lot of street photography in the town proper. My legs were numb because we walked, trailed and climbed a few mountains which I will feature in my upcoming posts.

My Tagalog Translation: Nawala ako ng mga ilang araw nung nakaraang linggo. Isa sa mga dahilan ang lugar na ito. Si misis ay gustong magdiwang ng kaarawan na malayo sa masikip na Maynila. Kaya nagpasya kami na pasyalan ang siyudad ng Baguio, ang "summer capital ng Pilipinas". Unang araw pa lang namin ay marami na kaming napasyalan, nakakuha rin ako ng mga larawang kalye sa mismong bayan. Ang mga paa ko ay manhid dahil sa layo ng nilakad, nilakbay at inakyat naming mga ilang bundok na akin ding ibabahagi sa mga susunod na hayag.

Let me share these beautiful scenes captured by Lumix ZS100 from Stobosa La Trinidad, Benguet which is already famous because of these colorful houses decorated with paints.To get here, we just rode a jeepney from Baguio market and the fare is 8.5 pesos ($0.0.17) per person. Travel time from the market is less than 20mins depending on traffic condition.

My Tagalog Translation: Nais kong ibahagi ang mga magagandang tanawing nakuhanan ng Lumix ZS100 mula sa Stobosa La Trinidad, Benguet na ngayon ay sikat dahil sa mga makukulay na mga tahanang luntian sa pintura. Para makarating dito, sumakay kami ng jip mula sa palengke ng Baguio ang pamasahe ay 8.5 pesos sa kada isang tao. Ang haba ng biyahe ay nasa dalawampung minuto depende sa trapik.

To get to the houses on the hill. They have installed a hanging bridge which is cool. This was my second time on a bridge like this one in a span of few weeks. The first one was in Mountain Province

My wife was also part of the frames.

What a beautiful place indeed. I will go back here someday again and see if the colors will be the same. There were few tourists passing since it was not during the weekend where a lot of them would flock here for photoshoots.
