Embrace the tangerine of this earthly life.
Be creative in everything you do.
An artist BE. A writer BE.
A dancer BE.

Color Challenge. Tuesday Orange. Original photography was my very first image shared in the 'Color Challenge for Steemians' as presented by @kalemandra for Tuesday Orange.

Once again the Color Challenge is Tuesday Orange.

And it seems like the perfect time to include 'You See ~ I See' as presented by @marillaanne, to illustrate and describe the processes of creating this ephemeral assemblage, now retitled: 'Embrace the Tangerine of this Earthly Life.'

You See:

  • Pale peach and white roses in an ornately carved little pot.

  • Surrounded by other white flowers resting upon white stones and pebbles.

I See:

  • Like most of my assemblage pieces there is an underlying structure in this work.

  • The numbers 6 and 12: Hexagram. Six pointed star. Twelve pointed star. Star of David. Seed of Life. Flower of Life.

  • Small white stones and pebbles: Twelve points radiating out from a circle.

  • A beautifully carved pot given to me by a friend several years ago.

  • Perfectly formed globe of Hoya. Five pointed stars. Pale magenta vase.

  • The Hoya had been grown from a cutting from my mother's magnificent Hoya plant. Wrapped with care and carried in my backpack, on one of the many flights between Melbourne and Sydney.

  • The number 3: Triangles. The trinity.

  • Three of the most perfect white Roses arranged on top of the Hoya.

  • A soft magenta glow coming through the pot.

  • Three tangerine Roses. Triangle.

  • Twelve white Roses amongst the rocks, that loosely form a twelve pointed star.

  • A touch of green now: Hare's foot ferns.

  • Green Calcite: A gardener's stone, bringer of trust and emotional balance.

Back to the Beginning:

Hey. Very beautiful. Looks really fantastic!

Thanks so much @psywalker. Really pleased you appreciate the beauty of this piece.

The roses themselves were absolutely perfect. So beautiful to arrange amongst the rocks.

Oh i love it.. so beautiful!
You have done that very well!

Roses truly ARE the flower that bring us in touch with our ability to love. And the wish to share our love. Really value your appreciation @psywalker.

More roses for you:

I enjoyed the photo AND the write up! Followed you :)

So pleased that you enjoyed the journey into the making of this piece @old-guy-photos.

Often when we share just the one final image of an entire day's or week's 'shoot' only we are aware of the myriad of things that may have been happening around us or within us, at that time.

And then when we look at the final image, we may recall some of those moments or other thoughts/feelings may be ignited. Which is why I love the 'You See ~ I See' format so much.

My challenge is to create a short and simple 'You See ~ I See.'

I love your photography. Followed you. Lovely to connect. I will visit you again as soon as I submit my 'Art Journey Collaboration' piece.

I did and followed her. I told her you referred me. I was sad to see the passing of her pup.
