IR Photography: The World Clock, Alexanderplatz, Berlin

in photography •  6 years ago

Here is a shot I took of the World Clock at Alexanderplatz, Berlin. This is a very popular meeting point, and there are (possibly apocryphal) tales of it being used by spies during the cold war to meet up.

You can see some artifacts from the lens mount around the edges of the photo - when adding a mounting ring for the IR-pass filter, I nearly glued the fucking thing to my hand.

Photo taken with the Panasonic DMC-TZ10 I modified to shoot IR only.
