Åre is the largest ski resort in Sweden. The resort is located at the foot of the wooded mountains. The highest mountain is Oreskutan with a height of 1429 meters above sea level. The resort has good opportunities for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. For fans of snowboarding, all routes are open.
