Dubai is a major city and port of the United Arab Emirates. The city is located on the shores of the Persian Gulf. The climate in Dubai is hot in the summer and dry throughout the year. Nice pics. I was there a few times while part of a crew on a Canadian warship during the first Gulf War. When we entered the Gulf we had our first look at sea snakes and I remember all of our little surgical team swearing that we were never going to go swimming there. Skip ahead a month and we were working ashore in Bahrain where we frequently went to the Emir's Beach and never gave the sea snakes another thought. If I had a big bag of money, I'd love to go back to Dubai again.
