Over the past year or so I have been working in the wet plate collodion medium of photography. It was invented in 1851 and has shown a resurgence in popularity over the past several years.
I currently have 12 photos on display as part of an analog photography exhibit at the Light Room in downtown Panama City, Florida. (That's my photo of the seahorse on the postcard)
Anyone who knows about wet plate collodion knows that it is a time-consuming, sometimes frustrating and very gratifying process. There are good days and bad days working in this medium, but, even on a bad day it is hard to escape the grasp of this method of photography.
Hopefully I will be shooting some more wet plate next week and will post some results.
