I just wrapped up my trip in Iceland for Secret Solstice Music Festival, one of the most unique festival experiences in the world. They host events inside ancient lava tunnels and retreating glaciers (thanks global warming).
Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip.
Back into the light.
Down inside the glacier.
Helgi Björnsson inside the Lava Tunnel
A skylight. And the last time we would see natural light for our half mile journey into a lava tube.
Ása got emotional.
Snorri Helga covered a deep Bob Dylan B-Side. I forgot its name.
The Prodigy haven't lost the energy. The crowd was wild for this one. Huge circle pits formed everywhere.
Droog and Nitin sharing the decks at HEL, the festival's own after hours nightclub.
Anderson Paak. headlining the main stage at 10PM -- in broad daylight because the sun didn't set my entire trip.
On the way to Geysir National Park.
This geyser is larger than Old Faithful. And it fires every 6 minutes.
Just your average everyday waterfall ...
And last, but certainly not least. Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl
Is someone taking pictures!?
