[Namibia 2017] The Abandoned City of Kolmanskop in Namibia #3

Namibia-8.jpg

It is not an easy task to shoot abandoned houses of Kolmanskop. You need to wander many hours inside desolated houses knee deep in the sand at 35 degrees Celsius in search for the best composition. In some places you just cannot pass walking on your feet and you need to crawl to get inside.

But if you are persistent and patient you can find true gems in Kolmanskop - scenes with great composition, delicate light, fantastic colors and cool story behind - all you need to create a photo masterpiece :)

@mibreit-photo Thank you!

Great HDR, a very natural look ;)

awesome

exotic photo

I like the reflection of the window on the wall. Its position describes better how abandoned the place is, then the sand itself.

dazzling

Wonderful shoot on an amazing place.

Brillant shot!

OH my gosh. One of the most beautiful pictures I have seen on stemmit till now. The blue sky in contrast to the sand tones is just amazing!

Love this so very much!
I'm actually dreaming for years now, to fill up an exhibition space with sand as an art installation and this photo is a lot like what I have in my head :D Incredible one, thank you for that!
