[Scotland 2017] Rocky Beach in the Evening, Isle of Eigg

Eigg-1.jpg

September 2017 was a very busy month for me. At first I had a photography workshop with Bruce Percy on Isle of Eigg in Scotland, then I visited and photographed 3 cities - Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland and Copenhagen in Denmark. A finally I went to photo expedition on arctic boat in Greenland with Daniel Kordan.

Let me start with Bruce Percy workshop on Isle of Eigg. Bruce Percy is a famous and widely recognised landscape photographer and educator. He is most known for his minimalistic style landscapes with precise fine-tuned composition. You can review his best works on his website - http://www.brucepercy.co.uk.

I loved his works for many years and read many of his photography books, but I couldn't imagine that one day I will meet him in person and will learn art of photography from him. In September 2017 this dream came true :)

Scotland has great nature. You have more material. @ansharphoto Do you have gorpo? Are you interested in goprophotography? What do you think about it? I want to know your comment.

@chorock I use Nikon d810 full frame DSLR and don't use GoPro in my photography for number of reasons:

  1. I shoot fine art photos - the ones you can print and hang on the wall. GoPro is OK for web, but lack resolution and optical quality from printing in big size.

  2. I use creative composition and I need lens focal range from 16mm to 200mm. GoPro doesn't have such ability - it goes with fixed wide focal length.

Thank you for your comment @ansharphoto I also want to know your comments about editing photo. What program do you use?

I also wait you #goprophotography tag :) Maybe you like it or advice something. In steemit there is no goprophoto. Maybe the tag develops.
