Revisiting old work is one of my favorite things about Steemit!

Hey Lars! As always, awesome post and amazing photography work. You're a big part of some recent inspiration to work on my photography and I wanted to get your opinion on something. I'm taking photography classes at the nearby community college and was offered to take a class with a local fashion photographer. Its almost double the price, and a 3 hour course (with a photo shoot at the end with one of his models) vs a 12 hour course, BUT its from someone who's profession is fashion photography...

Anyway, any thoughts? I'd appreciate any insight you have, you've obviously found a voice through your photos. Just don't want to miss out on this class if it will help me doing this as well...

Thanks :)

Thanks @anthonyjerrigo! So glad I was able to offer some inspiration for your work. I went to a community college. I spent about $5500 for two degrees, which is a pretty good deal. However, I've never used either to get a job. I've been a freelance artist for 7 years now and haven't needed the schooling. I have to say, though, the school did tend to hire instructors that actually worked in their fields and that made a huge difference for me. I learned more just shooting the shit with them than I did the classroom projects. A few of them are still really close friends of mine. With that in mind, I think you should do it if they're hiring an actual fashion photographer.

That is awesome insight, thank you! :)
