Not the greatest shot, but I do like it. And I don't have a lot of snow photography, so I tend to extra appreciate the few decent images I have. I need to get more snow stuff! And now I've got some snowboots as well, so if we get a good storm, I'll hopefully get something good and not have to worry about getting soaked and even more freezing cold. ._.
What's so great about this shot is that you were there.
You weren't sitting in your lounge watching TV as your life drifted by.
The best shots are the ones we take. the worst shots are the ones we can't be bothered getting of our backsides to take.

Haha. That's a good way to look at it! I'm not ungrateful for the image, and I thought it was good enough that I shared it. However sometimes some shots are just kinda regular shots when compared to other ones that might make one say "wow" or be awed or amazed. I've got those kinds of reactions a lot on some of my lightning and rainbow shots and such, and I just feel like there is a difference, though.. There's nothing wrong with the regular shots. I like them, they are just different. Depending on the mood, one might even prefer the regular to the once in a lifetime incredibly rare image. :)

immaculate! It is almost surreal and would be a wonderful painting! I am going to invest in some acrylic paints soon and would love to use your photos as practice with your permission! Right now I do have professional grade colored pencils, brush markers, and a gnarly sketchbook. You are very inspiring and motivate me!
