siput sedut dalam bahasa melayu yang artinya siput air tawar yang banyak kita jumpai di pasar,terutama pasar Tani.atau dalam nam sainsnya adalaha Cerithidea Obtusa.siput sedut juga dapat di jadikan masakan yang sangat lezat terutama yang saya sangat suka adalah Siput Sedut tumis santan
