Turning PlayStation 1 Into Awesome Looking High-End CD Player.

Most people used or are still using their PlayStation 1 as a game console, that's at least the reason why they bought it in the first place. But you can actually use it as a high-end CD-player too.

Some audio experts actually describe its sound quality as good as a $6000 dollar CD player. It seems that PlayStation 1 have the ability to make any song exciting, and the reason behind this is the AKM chip inside it.

You may claim that you have a PlayStation 1 and it doesn't sound that great, well the catch is in which model do you have. Not all PlayStation models sound the same.

There is only one model worth considering - the SCPH-100x. The 'x' depends on where in the world you live. In the US and Canada it's a SCPH-1001, in Japan the last digit is 0, in Europe its 2 and its 3 in Asia. None of the other Playstation models sound good I'm told so stick with the SCPH-100x versions.

Every Christmas people everywhere look at the game systems which are now abandoned and worthless on their entertainment centers and wonder WTF am I going to do with all that stuff? You have now given us a glimmer of hope.
