Yesterday after visiting my best friend and taking a small hike with her I decided to stop by a new thrift store along the way. They were about to close so I dashed to the where they keep all the glass items as this is the area where I find all my vintage china and pyrex and was pleasantly surprised when I spotted this set of four midcentury starburst tea cups!

Now I’m not a big midcentury fan, more of a French brocante kinda gal, but for some reason these caught my eye and for $3 for the four I had to make them mine!

They don’t go with any of my other pieces but I think I know the perfect person who would enjoy them.

I always enjoy spur of the moment thrift store trips!

Do you enjoy estate sales, flea markets or consignment stores?

Is is always these nice little things and moments that keep us happy. My guilty pleasure is wool and fabric ;)

I love vintage wool!!!! And charmeuse as much as cashmere!!!

So pretty and delicate! I could see them on a linen tablecloth filled with an aromatic brew - a small bouquet of violets and daises next to a plate of fruit filled danish pastries.

Excellent catch!

Aww that sounds so delightful! And you would definitely be invited!

You've touched on one of my guilty secrets -

I'm a tea snob. Hubby, too. {blushes}

Those teacups would do justice to a fine brew and I can't imagine a more pleasant hostess!

It seems I seen a set like that a long, long time ago.

Yes, some old goodies that are new to me :)

Oh those are lovely, can see why you snatched them right up. I enjoy all three-always looking for hidden treasures.
I have found nice art at estate sales and furniture to refurbish at flea markets. My favorite finds have been vintage books of the Masonic variety.🐓

Love treasure hunting and finding old treasures that are new to me!
Oh those books are wonderful as well as there temple and ritual accessories!
