I Found a City Flower For You! MyPictureDay and Black & White Photo Entry

Hey look what I found in Makati City, the Business Capital of the Philippines! Yep a white Kalachuchi flowah! It's called Plumeria in the Western or scientific world but we call it Kalachuchi locally.

I think a bunch of this is good for @vegan.niinja's birthday.

It was kind of a rain-cloudy day as I was walking the busy Makati sidewalks when I saw a few flowers on the otherwise clean pavement.

Well, it looks pretty so I took a pic of it and tried to take a pic of it with the tree in the background but my smartphone chose to focus on the tree instead of the flower. Hahaha.

Here's the tree from a distance.

Let's see if it looks good in black and white... I used my damaged Xiaomi Red4A Smartphone for all the photos by the way. This black and white pic is my entry to @daveks flower contest.

It looks pretty sad in black and white... Ah well that's it for today's flower pics for MyPictureDay contest too!

It's been several months since I've been to Makati and it looks like a lot of construction are happening. See below, two high rise buildings under construction. Not a fantastic looking cityscape photography but at least you see how it is.

Even the above pic of the Kalachuchi tree has a tall building under construction in the background. That's a new building to my eyes! That was previously a vacant lot I think or a park? They always do that it seems. They turn parks into a construction site of future high rise buildings (like in Ortigas, where the Westin hotel and luxury condo are getting built). Oh wait, wasn't it the Makati post office before??? Heck I dunno.
