Can Anyone say the name of this creature

Last weekend me & my friends went to ECR Chennai for photoshoot. At that time we found a creature float on the waves and reached the beach sand. It is already dead. It is like a combination of fish & a snake.but it has ears too. Anybody know this before, leave a comment
