Making of my tattoo - November 20 2008

I’ve always liked tattoos on other people but never considered having one myself.

Until one day during a massage course I was attending, while I was being worked on by one of the assistant teachers, I had a vision of a black dragon…

The next day while on the way back to class I saw in the sky… so many clouds in the form of dragons…

And it just stayed in my mind…

One thing led to another and probably it was several months later that I actually had the tattoo done…

I feel the black dragon is to remind me to use the skills and experiences that I’ve had over the course of this life thus far to be of service to others, to somehow benefit their lives and experience.

The day of the tattoo, I was extremely tired. Actually sleep deprived since I had the night shift and went to get the work done a few hours after my shift ended.

The work lasted several hours and at times I fell asleep in the chair ignoring the discomfort caused by the needlework.
