Hi everyone's !!!
Continuation of posts 1....
As has been described at length on the existence of leaf beetles in one of the plants, that any existence in an area will naturally increase their offspring in locations deemed appropriate to their characteristics.
In general, they breed in areas where there are lots of green plants to make as host plants.
Thus or if a plant becomes a target or breeding ground for their offspring, then the plant will automatically experience a difficult development because every new leaf that grows and leaves that have bloomed will be devoured simultaneously.
🐜 Target or body parts of plants that are often attacked by leaf beetles 🐜
As explained in the first post that each leaf beetle that has chosen a particular plant they have observed during the time required, they have earlier predicted the number of days spent or food sticks for their presence in a plant.
So in this case the leaf beetle will attack several parts of the plant body that it chooses to use as the survival of their family, then in general the leaf beetle will always attack it, as will be mentioned below.
1. Leaves
Every plant on earth that is wild or ornamental certainly has green leaves, almost 99% of the plants on this earth have green leaves. So why is every insect on the leaf? This is their main food in their lives, or it can be said that the leaves become a staple food for insect species.
Likewise with leaf beetles, green leaves are one of the staples for every leaf beetle family, so it's no wonder why the leaves in a plant fall apart. This is caused by a leaf beetle attack that incessantly consumes leaves.
2. Fruit that grows
In addition to leaves, leaf beetles will also attack fruit that has grown, this happens if its presence in the plant has come out of fruit or is fruiting and developing to wait for harvest, leaf beetles also attack the fruit. In general, leaf beetles and fruit beetles choose and sometimes lay eggs on their chosen fruit. But strangely the children of beetles live and develop in fruit.
The fruit beetle saplings will still live until it becomes an adult in the fruit chosen by its parent when laying eggs. But leaf beetles prefer to live in the stems of plants. When that happens, every crop will fail.
3. Stems of plants
Then another thing that is chosen by the leaf beetle in addition to the leaves, the fruit, and the stem of the plant itself.
So the stems of this plant are often called host plants. Their presence is in the stems of plants specifically for their eggs and offspring when they are hatched and born. So when their children are born/hatched they will eat the sap and its contents in the trunk of the tree until they are mature and they will come out of the stems to continue activities like the parents.
These three parts of the plant are often targeted by each leaf beetle and fruit beetle. Then every plant will not bear fruit if at the beginning they master.
Thus the life of leaf beetles that are often present in every plant whether wild or ornamental plants. This paper is sourced from the results of careful observations by the author himself.
