Danville Concours d’Elegance

The town of Danville at the foot of Mount Diablo in California is not usually known for interesting events. An exception is the Danville Concours d’Elegance on Sept 17 2017 (http://www.danville-delegance.org/about/). A variety of vehicles are on display, all to raise funds in support of Parkinson’s research and patient care. It is an annual event that has been running since 2004, and has raised more than $3 million is support of charitable activities. Classic cars are a staple (there were also a few kit cars). There are a few early cars, while most are vintage, and seem to have universally excellent paint. The Blackhawk Museums nearby also serve as a focal point for old car enthusiasts (http://blackhawkmuseum.org/cars/).

The 1931 Alpha Romeo seems like it could be a daily driver

Many of the cars had hoods open to look at the engine

Sadly very few boats on display, plenty of room for growth here!
