Snow Days..

While the mild temperatures combined with rainy days and western winds last week suggested a winter offensive was quite unlikely to take place, yesterdaymorning a drastically change of that story occured.

With falling temperatures below freezing point and winds change direction to a northern angle, a recipe was created for snow.. lots of snow!

A little blizzard, early in the morning, was responsible for covering nature with a blanket of 15 cm (6 inches) snow, which is very unusual in a place like 'West Flanders', Belgium. After a gloomy morning sky, the heavens cleared up and made room for some magnificent idyllic landscapes ;
