Take in the Southern Skies
If you watched my first Steemit video ever you saw me unpack my first professional camera ever, the Canon Rebel T7i. I have been practicing and learning more about it this week and would like to share with you some of my first photos.

North Carolina is known for it's stunning blue skies. I have been impressed with the Rebels ability to capture it's majestic essence.
As I am still learning about all of the Rebels capabilities I look forward to the images I will be able to get once I get more familiar with it, but I think these are a great start.

Love the pics! I'm looking to get a camera that can shoot video as well. For some reason the second image is my favorite.

The one I used here Rebel T7i can do video as well tho I haven't tried it out yet... it has the screen that flips so you can watch as you record, I've been practicing the still shots first.... I've heard good things about the Canon G7 as well in regards to vlogging 🎥

The Rebel was just over $1000 with a package that included some lenses, etc. The g7 is more like $800 I think with a kit, from what I've read they like it for the on the go vlogging cause it is lite and good quality, I picked the Rebel for the still photo options cause one of it's main functions will be taking photos of the vintage & antiques for my online shop 🤗 It can be so hard to decide because of all the options

I would love that camera! I think I have to go smaller because we are buying a new home so my budget is limited. I want to get one just to get started and save up. I'd love a Nikon D5 or D7.

NC native and fanatic here. Great shots @beartribune. I get all warm and fuzzy when I see people truly appreciating the place I call home. From the Smokies of Appalachia to the beautiful shores of Hatteras, the waters of the Cape Fear, the Neuse, the Dan, and the Yadkin are like veins of my own blood.
