The start of a race at Woodbine Racetrack, August 2009. My brother in law's horse is number 3. He ended up third.
Taken with a Nikon D5000 and kit 55-200 lens. f/6.3, 1/640 sec, ISO-200, 200mm focal length.
My brother in law breeds thoroughbreds, and when he has a horse running he usually has guests to the jockey club to watch the races. Fantastic prime rib, sushi, etc, all in wood paneled luxury behind the glass in perfect view of the finish line.
