Blue Skies, Sun Shining, Fresh Powder and Subzero Temperatures

That freshly laid snow, with its darned albedo effect.. reflecting all that beautiful clean sunshine into the eyes of the viewer, and out into space, enhancing the cold temperatures, also known as a positive feedback loop.

And those darned meandering Jet Streams with their chaotic weather patterns.

Bringing us down some wicked chilly Arctic Air for a day or two before the erratic jet stream pushes the cold out with furry.

High 50's next week and rain the 'casters are calling for.

I bet rain like nobodies business, these weather patterns won't quit, consistent yet chaotic.

Southeastern Pennsylvania has a unique geographic location situated East of the Appalachian mountain range which extends from Southwest to Northeast Pennsylvania, and the Westerly movement of Weather in the Mid Latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere, creates a sort of "hit or miss" scenario very often.

This time we were fortunate to receive a healthy 6 inches of snow. Which will apparently freeze into a brick or not with this freeze coming, but then will simply wash away with the warm temps coming next week.

But for now, Sun and Snow and Slopes.

Man would I enjoy taking a sled down that hillside. Easily hit 20mph or more. Put skis on, and it would be a bunny slope.

Just build a small tractor well rope pull to the top corner of the course down to the clubhouse and extend it past to the end of the driving range. Bam, 1000ft plus ski slope. I'd pay 20 bucks for that.

Cold enough for icicles.. but I still walked home from work last night. Was a crisp, starry night.

That densely packed cluster of huge conifers right there on the edge of the fairway would make for an insane orange needle ground mat ecosystem camp site.

No chemtrails today in the big blue sky. Just how I like it. No poison in the air because it has all been brought down to the ground with the snow and it is now melting into our watershed slowly for a slow kill... hahah just kidding y'all!

But stay alert nonetheless and stay warm!

Been working a lot this week, and unable to sleep too well. The Sun has been quiet of late but more recently woke up with some flaring activity. The sunspots that released the flares were not pointed at Earth, still within sight before turning over the limb. But currently the solar wind is extremely low in speed, moderate density but lower temperatures allows the the Earth kP index to bottom out.. or in other words.. Cosmic rays are at a maximum. There's is the potential cause for sleep issues.

Just thoughts on the wall.

Stay safe everyone.

All that snow is wonderful for your garden. Hope it melts in place and does not run off. Stay warm
