Machapuchare, Machhapuchchhre or Machhapuchhre (from Nepali माछापुच्छ्रे , meaning 'fishtail'), is a mountain in the Annapurna Himalayas of north central Nepal. It is ranked thirteenth most beautiful mountain in the world by Telegraph, UK in April, 2018.175669BC-F931-4A90-82BB-004034A82F33.jpeg It is revered by the local population as particularly sacred to the god Shiva, and hence is off limits to climbing.
