I recently traveled trough New York and took a boat tour through Niagara Falls via commercial boat ride.

"Maid of the Mist Tour" I believe was the name of the tour and was very resonably priced. I think tickets were around 18 bucks per person.

18 bucks is dirt cheap considering the views, memories and experiences that you get!

These were some of the most amazing views I have ever seen in my life!

Now, enough of the still photos and on with the video footage! Do yourself a favor and watch this video, it is totally worth it. I was worried that the footage didn't turn out well because my phone was literally soaked and wet! I had to keep pausing the video to wipe the water off the lense with my dry shirt underneith my poncho. I was pleasantly surprised when I reviewed the video, it turned out beautiful with several rainbows and even a double rainbow. Just ignore the few seconds of stupidity at the beginning, it's an inside joke. There is some beautiful shots of the falls in this video!

All photos and video in this post were taken by the bandito the may or may not be blue....

Holy Mist And Unicorn Rainbows Batman!
Favourite line: "My goatee is flapping in the wind."
Hahaha!
Great footage. No bandits were harmed in this episode of rocks, wind and water. :)

Haaha, it really was! Hurricane force winds I tell ya! That was actually part of the inside joke at the beginning of the video with the special creature wrapped in bubble wrap trying to get out of the bathroom. A friend of mine said I needed to wrap my ass up in bubble wrap before I kill myself so I made a lil clip of "it" trying to open the door. The friend thar made the comment was talking at the very beginning. Great comment, Becca!

Hahaha! Best material ever "the pelted goatee" sounds like a great pub-name to me.

The power and might of those falls really come out in the video. Good thing the captain of the boat knew what he/she was doing. And the rainbows...OMG! Awesome photos too. That is an experience that I know you will never forget. Tip!

Thanks for taking the time to watch the video! I was glad that it turned out so well and the views were just remarkable! And your right... the rainbows! lol Thanks for the tip!

My pleasure @bluelightbandit! : )

Like a darned hurricane. That is a massive amount of very violent waters. Is any of it harnessed for electricity? Very cool! No pun intended!🐓🐓

These are extremely powerful waters to say the least. Just the wind and pelts of water coming from the falls felt like results of extreme weather. About electricity, the Niagara Falls is the most powerful water fall in North America and it is a tremendous source for hydroelectric plants throughout the country. New York has a hydro plant that I know of and I think Colorado has one too, I'm not sure what other states have them from the river but yeah, it produces a lot of electricity!

@bluelightbandit
I have been on the boat. It is a great experience.
Thank you for showing all of us what you have experienced.
We all appreciate it .

Francis

Thanks Francis! This was one of the most beautiful creations on earth that I have ever seen and I am fortunate to have captured it on video.

awesome shots !!! I am grateful for having me see the beauty of mother nature through your talent. You really are great!

Thank you! I was glad at how well the video turned out so that people who have never seen it before could get some quality footage of what it looks like down there.

What a spectacular place! I've been once a very long time ago. Would love to go again though, i never did get on the boat that goes to the bottom of the falls though so see that video was a nice treat. thanks for sharing :)

Thanks! I'm glad you got to enjoy the video, it was a breathtaking view!

I got to visit from the Canada side last November. I thought the US side wasn't going to have as good of views, but you got some incredible pictures and I think the US side has just as good of views.

I keep hearing that the Canadian side has the better views. I've never been so I can't compare but I was mystified by everything I saw from that boat! It did look like the Canadian side was more fun with the Casinos and all close by lol.

Greta shots I remember doing that a few years back so triggered some nice memories,
I was supposed how cheap the Maid of the Mist ride was, nothing is that cheap these days

Yeah, I was surprised at how low the cost was. You're right, everything is priced out the roof these days!

:) good to know we can still find the odd good deal though

Beautiful and amazing photos and video. Thanks for sharing!! Never been, but would certainly like to visit some day. What an experience!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It is definatley worth going just for a day trip or something. And only 18 bucks for a ticket, you just cant beat that!
