Was going for a walk in BeaconHillPark in Victoria (BC) sometime in July. I was originally looking for a Unicorn Feather (Brown feathers on peacocks, more rare to find), when I came across this royal fellow.
I walked slowly towards him and sat on the log he was perched on, hung out with him for about 10 minutes before I decided to move on; when I left he also decided to leave, and we went our separate ways.
I was even able to get this wonderful image. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
