Night sky - Big Dipper, Seven sisters and the moon rise

in photography •  8 years ago

Today I want to share a couple of night shots.

I made them in september. It was my first ever shooting of night sky.

Wow. For a first try, you did very well.
Beautiful. Thank you for posting.
It is really neat and the amazing skyline at it's best.

Thank you! Glad to hear that. 8)
Original pictures were too dark and noisy. But today I have more expirience in postprocessing. So may by that's why pictures came out not so bad.

They look super to me. It takes time just to be able to capture the sky in the first place.
The scene is not permanent. Fleeting and gone. Then one has to wait for another opportunity.
Thank you for your time and effort. It will reward you for your awareness.

You're right! I was really lucky with the moment. And I spent time with the camera instead of having fun with friends. But if I had an experience of night photography at that moment, I could make more interesting photos. On the other hand that evening gave me my first experience in shooting the night sky.

Your success is because of your effort. Planned course of action is what a person has to make a decision about. Whether by luck, "which I don't have faith in", or by hard work. Those who achieve success, do so by consistency.

That second photo, WOW!

It was a nice moment but not the best quality. Thank you, @mweich! 8)

Haha, I guess you'll just have to try again! :)

Interesting. I just found out after searching for Seven Sisters that it's the name of a cluster. :-) Thanks.
