Today i would like to introduce you to the place where i live. Medulin, Croatia. Small town on the Adriatic sea. And i wanna show you this place when is at his best. In the middle of winter, out of season,no brightly colored things, no shiny baits for tourists, very few cars, just pure mediterranean gloom. When fogg comes creeping from the bay like in that old,good Carpenter's mowie, hinding all the cheap and boring buildings made quickly for quick and easy tourist business.
All photographs are, of course, made by me, one contemplative, foggy night, few months ago.
Yess, this place looks very lonely - but lonely with so much style.
Fogg is a powerful force when it comes to visual transformation, many banal things become enchanted parts of a surreal wonderland

I know Medulin from quite a few summer holidays and my family loves it there. Nice foggy images, but I think I prefer to be there in summer, because the fog is here in Austria the same ;)

Well, to be completely honest, maybe summer is the best season, i love to swim and snorkel and in winter the sea does not look very inviting.....and not every winter day has this foggy charm...most of them are bland and boring :) i exaggerated a bit this ode to winter for the sake of the story.... see you in Medulin maybe one day
