Drip, drop, drip and the sun begins to melt the ice. Underneath are the pink rose buds frozen in time. Left over from fall but now a prisoner of winter. Buds from new to old, small to in fully bloom. You almost get to see the life of the rose, from start to finish. Stuck on the time of the winter season. Just out the back door, or down the street, really somewhere not to far. Give a few moments on your walk/run from the car to the next building. It may be small but you may see something new. Keep your head on a swivel. Don't be afraid to check things out.
