This was the summer of 2017, the morning before the Eclispe.
We slept in a hammock on the side of the Blueridge Parkway.
We set the alarm for 6:00 AM to catch the sunrise before heading to Pinnacle-
A ranger woke us up at 5:51 AM
"Time to get movin'" he says.
