The Distance In Between..

Thousands of miles separate these two images.

I shot this first one in Poland a couple of years ago.
It was a very cold evening (for a change) and I was sick with a terrible cold, but the photo bug doesn't care about those things.

I was inside trying to get some macros and then I looked outside through he window and saw this beautiful sunset with gorgeous warm tones. This was already during the twilight, after the sun was down.

The next one was taken in Portugal.

Very interesting shot! I do not understand how you did it? Is it an editor, or is this an original long shutter shot?
