The Cape bunting is a small bird, mainly found the mountainous areas around Cape Town, they spend most of their time hopping around on the ground looking for seeds to feed on.
I managed to get this picture while on a weekend away last year, we rented a little cottage on a nature reserve for a getaway and this lovely little bird cam and sat on this flower right in front of me in the perfect light, framed by the flower it draws your eye straight to the bird, this is one of my favorite bird photos of all time!
