Weevil, macro photography

Good day all!

DSC_9118.jpg

So yesterday morning I found this little bug next to my kitchen sink, not sure what he was, but I went and grabbed my macro lens to get a few shots of him. To identify what it is, I found a cool way to identify animals and plants that you don't know what they are.

There is an app you can get on your phone called Google Lens, it uses artificial intelligence to compare what you have with images online and then it will show you similar images, it is really accurate!

I took the photos with a Nikon D500 with the Sigma 105mm Macro lens.

I hope you enjoy the post and have a great day!

Nice image. There is an app called Seek as well that does the same (and does it better in my experience). I love the Sigma 105, great lens.

Thanks, I will give it a shot!
