Palouse Falls is a 200 ft high waterfall in the scab lands area known simply known as the Palouse. The best time to view the falls is in the late Spring. As you can see the falls are only flowing about 50% of capacity. If you didn't know that it was there you wouldn't find it much like many of the lakes and canyons in this rugged region of Washington state. This is a close up shot of the upper pool and falls that has been set in Sepia tone.Looking downstream from Palouse Falls you can see just how rugged this region really is. This region has hundreds of feet lava making it difficult to grow much.
