I got up at 5am this morning to shoot a client at the beautiful Vasquez Rocks location in Aqua Dulce. It’s been a popular filming location for 100 years, and people love taking their engagement & maternity photos there.
I had a super awesome client who wanted to do a Wonder Woman shoot. I had styled a wig for her earlier last week, and I stood outside of my car in 35 degree weather doing her makeup. She runs those Spartan races, so she didn’t bat an eye at the cold weather, but I definitely thought I was going to die.
Once the sun rose, we were already the first ones in the park and on the mountain. As you can tell, I had to improvise to find some cool angles for these photos.
I’m currently sitting in a little coffee shop drinking a smoothie, but I can’t wait to get home and edit some of these photos to show you guys!

That second image sure is commitment for the shot! Your model looks like a fierce warrior, the wig styling is cool. Now a completely different task is starting with the editing process. Enjoy the journey to your final image!

She did pretty fantastic for her first photo shoot! I settled in late last night to start the editing process...whew, it's always fun starting that. sarcasm
I had a delicious banana & strawberry smoothie! one of my favorites. I wish I could nap! I made it to 9pm last night before falling asleep HARD. But those moments of sleep deprivation are usually worth it! ;)
