Tóki (?) Raised the stone in memory of Gunnar, Grim's son. May God help his soul! Took the viking.
Apparently, this stone was hidden in the wall until the 1800's.
What a cool thing to discover hidden beneath the surface of what there is to see with the eyes.
I especially enjoy the Braille breakdown of the Rune Stone on the right-side of the placard. It feels mildly ironic for some reason!

Thanks! I have been there many times and I was even given permission to take close-up shots of some of the other statues and monuments. I will post some other interesting images soon from some of the trips there!
