This is the best book to buy if you into wedding photography
My own a opinion I like the photographer guide to posing because it shows what to look for in posing in a professional view point. When I was done reading I felt I had some good insights how I can stand out from the crowed. The best part about this book was I couldn’t stop reading and I felt I was able with practice to make my photograph looked good. I started reading this book because I seen how many good reviews it had. I was able to learn some posing techniques and the best part about this blog is I am about to share with you what I have read. Hopefully you guys could take this in the real world.
One thing I learned was how professionals know how to tell a story. Story telling is important in a photograph. It gives the reader what it is happening in a photograph. Not only you want to tell a story, but you want to make sure you are complementing you’re subject from the background you have chosen.
Posing Male
Ok so you have picked a good background that will complement you’re subject the next thing is making sure your subject arm is bent because if you the subject arm is straight it would look unpleasant to the eye. If you are photographing a male you want their chest buffed up where it looks natural to you. In this generation we are so used to cell phones and computers. This means you’ll see people slouch a lot. It’s your job as a photographer to train your eyes if you haven’t done so. Slouch= no confidence.

Making sure you’re subject looking fabulous is definitely a plus and having the subject with watches, sunglasses, necklace is only distraction according to photographer guide to posing. It makes sense when you train your eyes. I been taking pictures about two years now I have learned that photoshop is something you would like to invest some time and money into. Maybe find a good course on lyden.com or I could upload my own photoshop content for anyone who is interested in photography.

                                                                             Posing woman

Photographer guide to posing talks about you should be aware how the hands are posed. I photographed this couple one day and I remember how I needed make the hands look as comfortable as possible. I told my subject to relax her hands instead of having her hands tense up. I notice how it made a difference in the photographed. This book brings wonders and it’s a definitely a most buy. Posing the arm making sure it’s at a 90 degree angle is important.

I recommend getting the book.
